Back to School

S: Things have been hectic around here lately.

D: Sorry we've been so quiet on the blogosphere.

S: Now that summer is winding down, things are shifting here at Sparky's.

D: The biggest change is staffing. By now you all know that Chad has moved north to Ohio. We found out recently that he managed to snag a sweet job and will be married to the lovely Allana in November. Good luck, girl!

S: With Chad gone, Shannon has moved into the opening position through the week. I've never seen anyone so excited to get up at the crack of dawn. I mean, I'll get up to eat breakfast, but then I'm back in bed.

D: Shannon has been a whirlwind of activity. She's in the process of updating the daycare board in the office, she's majorly on top of birthdays (as opposed to January birthday cards going out in May) and the desk area is so neat Tara can't find anything.

S: The other change in staffing will be several of our staff returning to school in the next few weeks. Katherine has already headed back to UNC, where she will finish out her last year. Don't worry though, she will be back to play with us on her breaks! Those of you coming to stay over the holidays will get Katherine time.

D: Dacy is also returning to school and while her college is much closer (Warren Wilson), her busy schedule won't allow her to stay on. She will fill in as needed though, so don't worry.

S: Suzanne's schedule will basically return to the way it was before the summer started, although we have gotten used to seeing her more.

D: We have also added several new staff members. Make a point to meet Kathryn, Myriam and Jeremy. If you haven't met Laura yet, she works mornings.

S: Oh, and Patrick has been around a bit, but school will be super busy for him as he finishes up this year.

D: It's a good thing Tara only lets cool people come and hang out with us.

S: Well, we are cool dogs.
D: So, as things slow down a tad, hopefully we'll be better at keeping you guys up to date. But honestly, if I have to choose between playing and blogging, well, it's a no-brainer.
