Protective Eyewear Recommended

S: Man I love Tara. I mean she feeds me and pets me and lets me sleep in her bed. But she's a wimp. So I may have poked her in the eye with my paw. So I may have scratched her eyeball. So it may hurt a little. But we were playing!

D: Face it Sparky, people just aren't as tough as us.

S: Yeah, you seemed really tough when she was trimming your feet the other day.

D: Hey! It's a matter of personal pride. I like my "Grinch" feet.

S: I sure am glad none of my hair is long enough to trim. Bad enough I still have a bald spot on my tail after that trip to the vet a few weeks ago.

D: Well, I think you should be more careful. Clearly Tara was in pain. And when she got back from the eye doctor she said something about it cutting into our treat budget. That's not cool.

S: Believe me, I never would have hurt her on purpose. And I certainly wouldn't have intentionally put my treat budget at risk!

D: So, a warning to all you people out there! Wear protective eyewear at all times when involved in play with our superior species.
