Firetrucks, Ambulances & Police Cars Oh My!

S: Tragedies are sad. But sirens are fun!

D: We had a lot of action around here today. First a fire truck went by and we kicked up quite a chorus. With two Beagles in the front yard, the howling lasted for a good ten minutes.

S: Then, not too long after that there was a big wreck on the corner (the second this week, guess that light they put in isn't too effective). Luckily everybody was okay, but then we got a firetruck, an ambulance and two police cars. That's a lot of sirens.

D: Remember when we went for a ride in Tara's car a couple of years ago, Sparks?

S: Oh yeah, that was so cool.

D: Tara put us in the back seat and then ran back inside for a second. While she was gone, the emergency brake failed and we went rolling down the hill, through the intersection and bam! The loading dock across the street halted our joyride.

S: It was way cool, but Tara was pretty freaked out. I guess we were lucky that traffic was clear when we crossed through that intersection.

D: I never really liked that car anyway...

S: Yeah, and now we have the convertible.

D: I love the feel of the wind in my hair.

S: So, the moral of the story is, as cool as sirens are, it would probably be better if people would just be more careful when they are driving. We need our people to feed us and pet us and take us to daycare.

D: So stay safe!
