Sweetpea: I had forgotten how noisy it is when Russ is here. Between the hammering and that stupid bird squawking, it's hard to get any sleep.
But the upside of his return is I get way more spoiled. I get to run around whenever I want (as long as I don't pee in obvious places). I get to hang out in the kitchen while he's cooking and he always shares. I tried to snuggle with him in bed Sunday morning, but Kinky (his parrot) chased me off the bed, then had the nerve to stick his tongue out at me. The bird better watch out. One day when he's not looking...
All and all, I guess it's cool. Russ will fix everything that's broken during the winter and probably change things that don't necessarily need fixing, and then when it starts to get cold in the fall, off he'll go to Florida again. And I plan to be in the camper with him. If I can just find a good hiding place.
