Banjo is a 1 year old hound mix with a distinctive look and a even more distinctive personality. He was recently featured as Sparky's Playmate of the Month (Dec 07) and he earns that title every day. Everyone is Banjo's best friend! He is a typical hound that goes where he wants, when he feels like it. You can't help but adore Banjo.Banjo: The first time I came to play at Sparky's was one of the happiest days of my life (aside from my adoption day, of course). I love this place! There is always someone to play with and a place to run and we can be as loud as we want. For the first few months, I really resisted going home at the end of the day. I love my family and all, but this was so much fun! (And I wasn't too thrilled with the car ride thing.) Now that I know that a ride in the car usually means going to play and that if I go home they will bring me back, I'm a little more cooperative.

So, here at Sparky's they make us take breaks. Something about us playing too hard and getting too tired. Whatev. Well, I've figured out a way around these silly breaks. If somebody is up that I want to play with, I just break them out. Let my people go, dudes!

Let's just say that I have skills with my nose. And I'm talking about my sense of smell. The staff has wizened up somewhat and now lock some of the gates (which I'll figure out eventually), but occasionally they'll forget, and pop! Jail break! Heehee. No more resting.

Playing is what I do. Sleeping is for nights and weekends. I don't mean to brag, but I AM the party.
