D: Apparently I missed water fun day on Tuesday. Thanks a lot, Mom. Sophie Arnold and Winston were romping around in the pool and raising all sorts of ruckus. And I missed it. Phooey.
S: I don't understand your fascination with the water, Denver. It's all...wet.
D: Yeah, the only reason you'll get wet is to get a ball. Then you just chew on it. It's so much more fun to chase the ball, Sparks.
S: That's so much work.
D: Anyway, back to reviewing the week... I guess the most usual thing this week was the abundance of little dogs. I'd sure like to know what's happening over there that's attracting so many dogs. I think the big dogs must be missing out.
S: We have just as much fun in the big dog yard! Come on, big dogs! Show yourselves. We can beat those little ones!
D: I don't really think it's a competition, Sparks. I was just commenting on how many little guys we've had lately.
S: Well, we can still beat them, I'm sure of it.
D: Okay, whatever. All in all, it's been a pretty good week. The weather's been nice and we've had a lot of fun. Good thing too, because it's supposed to storm real bad tomorrow (better get under the bed, Joey), so we'll all be stuck inside.
S: Sounds like a great day to curl up on the couch.
D: Any day is a great day for you to curl up on the couch, Sparks. For the rest of you non-lazy dogs, come and see us next week. We guarantee a fun time!
