Luck 'o the Irish?

S: Well, I'm not real sure about which breeds are Irish, but I'm pretty sure that MacGregor is a Scottish terrier mix, not an Irish terrier mix (I've never heard of an Irie or Irishie or whatever it might be called). But he's been strutting around here all day barking in this faux Irish brogue like the whole day is all about him. Someone send an Irish Wolfhound over to kick his tail.

D: Actually Sparks, there is a breed called an Irish Terrier, but I don't think they abbreviate it in any way. And don't forget about Irish Setters, but we haven't seen any of those since Emma & Mimi moved away.

S: Those two were fun, but I never did figure out how to tell them apart.

D: That's the great thing about being a mixed breed, you don't look like every Buddy, Daisy or Spot.

S: Well you certainly look like half the golden retrievers out there, Denver.

D: I do not! I'm much prettier! In fact, we're not even sure there's a golden in my lineage.

S: Your distinguished lineage, no less...

D: Hey, you aren't one to talk! Your litter probably had three different daddies.

S: They only proved it was two!

D: No two ways about it Sparks, our mama gets around...

S: Denver, we seem to have gotten off the topic of St. Patty's Day.

D: Oops! Sorry folks! Well, anyway, hope you have a great one and everyone is pooping green tomorrow!
