New faces on the playground

S & D: We're chilling out at home on the couch today, so we're kicking it out to our Pooch on the Scene, Sweetpea.

Sweetpea is a two year old yorkie/beagle mix who lives at the daycare. She adopted us in the summer of 2006 and we can't imagine life without her. She is sweet and tough and can hang with the best (and biggest) of them.

Sweetpea: So, Sparky and Denver are being lazy today and asked me to report on the happenings around here. We've got a couple new faces out here today, so I thought I'd fill you in on how they are fitting in.
In the little dog yard, Elly is adjusting beautifully. She came by for some play last week, but today she has really opened up and loves to play. She especially seems to like wrestling with Sophie Arnold, so apparently those springers like to stick together. Oz is a another new one in the little dog yard today. He seems to like the other dogs okay, but he really likes Libby's lap. Which is fine I guess, but it keeps her from throwing the ball for me, uh, I mean the rest of us. So, I'll hop over into the big dog yard and see what Suzanne and the dogs are up to.
Over here we have another ball-related issue. First Daisy Byrd took off with it and hid out on top of the slide, but now the new dog, Ruby, has it and everybody is kind of hanging around drooling over it. Ruby has fit right in and loves to run and play. I'll just have to steal the ball back when she doesn't expect it.
Well, that's all the news for now guys, back to you.

S: (Yawning) That makes me tired just thinking about all of the playing.

D: Sparks, you could sleep all day. You bore me. I'm going to watch out the window for cats. We'll shout at you guys tomorrow.
