PAWS ON PARADE 2010
Plan to join us for the Paws on Parade Annual Walk-A-Thon, at Carrier Park on Saturday, May 22nd. Registration begins at 9:00a.m. Walk-A-Thon starts at 9:30 and ends at 11:00a.m. All well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome!
Plan to check in at the Paws booth at 9:00 a.m. to turn in your money, register for door prizes, and enjoy light breakfast fare! A prize will be awarded for the top three fundraisers!
If you are not able to walk in the event, sponsor a parading pooch by mailing a check made payable to "Paws with a Purpose" to P.O. Box 8178, Asheville, NC 28814.

We walk rain or shine!
You can walk (or parade with your pooch!) on a paved/gravel walking path, as much or as little as you choose!
All well-behaved,leashed dogs are welcome!
Dogs do not have to be Paws therapy dogs to participate.
They do have to be friendly, on a leash and under your control in a crowd and around adults, children and other dogs.

DIRECTIONS TO CARRIER PARK
Carrier Park is located on Amboy Road in West Asheville. From Biltmore Ave. (just north of Biltmore Village) take Meadow Rd. west. At 2nd traffic light turn left onto Amboy Rd. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left into park opposite Michigan Ave.
From I-240 East take exit 1C (Amboy Rd.) and turn right into park opposite Michigan Ave.
From I-240 West, take exit 2 (Rt. 191), turn left and return to I-240 East to Exit 1C (Amboy Rd.).
