S: Okay, so I realize that we've really been slacking off this week.

D: We have a good excuse, honest!

S: Actually, we have two really good excuses. First, Tara has been working on multiple writing deadlines and she hasn't let us near the computer. Technically, we could get up before her and blog, but who am I kidding? I don't give up sleep.

D: Second, we've had a really busy week! I think we set some kind of daycare record on Tuesday. There were so many dogs here. Whew.

S: We've had a lot of really nice weather and so all of our friends have been coming out to play.

D: And we've made more new friends, too.

S: Many of those new friends have taken the form of puppies. Yes, more puppies. The place has been sappy over them.

D: Disgusting, really.

S: Let me clarify for my sister. The puppies aren't disgusting, the sappiness is.

D: They knew what I meant.

S: Well, you know how important it is to be PC. No telling who is going to be reading the blog. I mean, we wouldn't want a puppy to read it and get it's feelings hurt.

D: I guess. Those puppies do seem to be a tad sensitive.

S: Anyway, we're sorry to have slacked off and we promise to try to be better.

D: Notice that Sparks said "try".

S: Yeah, I guess I really shouldn't make any promises.

D: Probably for the best.

S: Well I can promise that you won't hear from us tomorrow. Friday is our day off.

D: Sparks sleeps the whole time. Bor-ing.

S: I have to get my rest to refuel for the next week.

D: Yeah folks, he's got it real hard.

S: Excuse us now while I show my sister that I can be un-lazy too.
