Guest Blogger: Jack Badr

Jack is a 8 month old Beagle/Bluetick who loves to play! Since joining the small dog playgroup this winter, Jack has brought much energy and excitement, not to mention the cutest beagle howl ever! His hobbies include making other dogs chase him, the dart and dash, and the howl and lunge.

Jack: And they say rainy days are boring. Ha! Not if I'm around. A little bit of precipitation can't slow me down. Today I wrestled with Huckleberry, who just happens to be twice as big as me, and Ronan, who I think is a little sweet on me, and anyone else that wanted to play. The truth is, I am very popular.

Not that I'm trying to be arrogant, it's just the way it is. Branson and PB follow me around like I'm a movie star. And everybody wants to play with me. I can't figure out if it's my boyish good looks, or my remarkable singing voice. Face it, I've got the whole package.

Today we played with bubbles and my oh my were they tasty! All of the dogs were very interested in them and even the slower ones managed to catch a few (I won't name names). I heard the bubble tradition goes way back at Sparky's. Here's a picture from the early days.

You can tell it's like ancient, because Sparky looks so young and he's like 5 or something. Oh, and another thing, I heard that At Play with Sparky will be having its 5th anniversary this summer. Wow, it's hard to imagine anything that old. Well, regardless, I'm just glad they are here, so I have a place to come and get my doggie on.
