S: This has been an emotional day so far. I, um, **sniff**, am, um...
D: Sparks, pull yourself together! Be a man.
S: But it's sad!
D: What my sappy brother is trying to tell you is that today was Mitch's last day. Everybody loves Mitch and we are definitely going to miss him, but it is not the end of the world.
S: He promises to come back.
D: And we actually believe him.
S: That was the other emotional part of today. Kassie came to visit!!
D: See, sometimes people tell the truth.
S: It was so good to see her and so hard to say goodbye to him. **sniffle**
D: On to other news from the week... At Play with Sparky is happy to welcome our new people play friend, Amanda. She'll be working mornings and so far she seems really cool. Not too willing to let us get away with stuff, but pretty cool.
S: And she really likes dogs.
D: Yeah, Amanda owns a local petsitting business called All Paws Pet Care, so if you have other animal friends at home who can't come and play here, she can help take care of them. And despite my begging, she will not bring me any of the cats she cares for.
S: We just want to play with it, honest.
D: The week has been a seesaw with weather, but I guess that's the definition of spring. So, we savor the warm days and enjoy the pool and cuddle up together for a good nap during the storms.
S: All in all, a good week!
