Everybody loves puppies!

D: What is the big deal about puppies anyway? Everybody's voice gets all high when they talk to them and they kiss them all over. It's weird. I'm way cuter than any puppy.

S: Aw, come on Denver. Puppies are fun! They bounce around and play and have tiny little barks.

D: Whatever. I'm going to go play with the grown-ups. You can have puppy fun.

S: Denver's got her tail all in a bunch over the two new puppies who are here today. Raz is a four month old border collie who loves the water and I'm sure will be a blast when she grows up. Then she'll get to play on our side of the fence. With the big dogs. Her little brother is Scout, a three month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Scout's super cute, and still a little cautious about the other dogs, but he's got his little tail wagging.

Let's face it. Puppies just make the day fun. Nibbler, a Boston terrier, has been playing at Sparky's for several months now and she never lets her size slow her down one bit. She is a fireball.Wylie, a bulldog? mix, started a few months ago and can't stand to miss a single day. There's no rest when Wylie's around.
And let's not forget about Huckleberry. Suzanne, one of our people here, adopted him a couple months ago and he has grown before our eyes. There isn't a dog in the place that intimidates him-not even the huge Daisey Godiva. He will play with anyone who plays back.

One of the greatest things about this job is puppy kisses and puppy enthusiasm. Don't listen to Denver. Keep those puppies coming!
